Really. Although I've been forced to read this book (and see the less than wonderful movie) one too many times, it is a good, important book. Though I haven't read it recently enough to remember if it contained any offensive language, it's apparent that the theme of death of a friend can be portrayed in a way that isn't deemed "healthy" by bigoted parents.
