Sorry I don't have anything to quote, I accidently deleted it.

Anyway, someone said something about writers today not writing anything
really controversial or shocking (dammit, I cant think of the word he/she
used, but it was better). I think that is because nothing is as shocking as
it used to be. What if Catcher in the Rye came out TODAY? Would anyone even
notice it? Meanwhile, movies we watch today that are rated PG would have
been un-heard-of back in the fifties.
