I have just joined the list and wonder why interviewing Salinger would even play a role in anyone's mind. There is to many phonies for Salinger to have to deal with. I'm sure he would question ones motives. I would just simply tell him thank you. He's already answered many questions for me through his characters. To many phonies still out there for an interview.
