craig, I do believe that was the most interesting post I've read since I've
been part of bananafish....it's a really interesting view point you hold.  I,
like yourself, am fantasized with religion and I think that is the reason I
really like Franny and Zooey.  I was raised Roman Catholic, but in 7th and 8th
grade I started questioning my religion and basically, not really believing in
a lot of stuff.  So, I'm not sure what exactly you would call me.  I figure
that people created religions to answer questions they had.  So, people are
the ones who made the creation story and other things in the bible and if
that's so, how do we know any are true?  I don't know, religion is one of
those confusing things that brings up so many emotions in me that I hardly
know what I'm feeling.  I really should learn more about my religion and then
study others...just to be well-rounded and stuff.
