No, it isn't a common expression.  Salinger finds it clever (although I find=20
it laborious and pretentious) to come up with a title and then later change=20
the words around to make it sound more interesting or provocative.  PRETTY=20
MOUTH AND GREEN MY EYES was obviously MY PRETTY MOUTH AND GREEN EYES and THE=20
HEART OF A BROKEN STORY was obviously THE STORY OF A BROKEN HEART.
