Pathos dictates that I desist from replying but civility demands that
I request if not a close then at least a fleeting reading of my
message to Camille, Scottie's follow up on that, and then your own,
which might make the context a little clearer, thus sparing the list
from having to endure yet another yawn-inducing repetitious round of
"she said, he said" (which it must be emphatically, if
parenthetically, pointed out is neither an allusion to a rather well
known ee cummings poem, nor to Edward Said).

Of course, I shall ceaselessly continue to fight the urge to label any
messages from you with descriptive or pathetic labels, or to append
choice quotes from Teddy, though it happens to be handy, since it is
too much of an effort to even *consider* the idea of prolonging this
thread.
