Thor, I agree completely. I was really draggin' ass by the end of this book
and I only read it once. I think the real question is "who wrote this story
and put Salinger's name on it?"

trying to pass this off as legitimate literature. A seven year old? Please!
I know forty year olds that won't speak to their parents that way, and they
have the capability. This little punk? You've got to be kidding.
Completely, completely, completely out of the question. This is Salinger
being a know-it-all-because-I-wrote-it-all, and using the vehicle (but not
the voice) of a child to get his little agenda covered. How dishonest!
Turning a child into Oscar Wilde! What a cretin. How unforgivable. And
the fact that it's this load of offal that he wants to republish offends my
as a reader and an intellectual. What an ego!
 Rant over. Waiting for response.
 Itchin' for a fight,
 Thor
