A couple of unforgivable oversights in connection with
    William McGonnagle.

    A more correct edition:
            The Tay! The Tay!
The silvery Tay! (the line that makes it magical)
            Comes up tae Dundee
            Twice a day.

    and, an alternative reading:
This is Dundee toon wi'out a doubt
For THERE is the Albert Instityowt!

McGonnagle used to stroll round Dundee wearing
flambuoyantly poetic dress & rejoicing in the public
acclaim which greeted his every appearance - in a way
very reminiscent of Jerry Salinger. I wonder, though,
will Salinger be remembered with such pleasure
a hundred years after his death?
