And Bruce knows I liked his post because he's a seer (...and also because of

I'm an alcoholic (ask Scottie, who's a clergyman--or was that someone else
performing a credible impersonation of John Knox the other day?), and all's
well with the world.

OSR--I'm sorry I typed "Miriam".... It was a flashback to an old landlady
who probably should have driven ME to suicide (although, being Canadian,
it's almost impossible to imagine where I'd get the gun. I guess I COULD
just drive over the border and pick one up at the 7-11.... I swear there is
NO place on earth like the suburbs of a large 'Meruhcan city! But I
digress....)
