B'fishers,
After five years of subjecting myself to the intensly ordinary and
unsatisfying life in corporate american I'm turning in notice. I'm tired
of getting home at 9pm, writing from 10 - 2am (or, more normally 10-10:05
when I fall asleep at the keyboard), then going to work at 7am. I'm
leaving the life of quiet desperation. I'm committing myself to writing.
Strangely enough, this means I won't have time (won't allow myself the
distraction) to swim in the bowl anymore. For the past few years b'fish
has been my peace of mind and my intellectual stimulus in a grey workday.
You guys are the only reason I've lasted so long. Many days I've almost
been driven crazy at lunch, trying to stir up some more interesting
conversation that what happened on Seinfeld last night, only to retreat to
my terminal and the latest installment of b'fish. Thank you, all, for
being there for me (even you Scottie).

I hope the list continues it's rich tradition of socratic debate,
hallmark card sentiment, and zen violence. Good luck all. And thank you
Tim, Will, Scottie, Mattis, Robbie, Madiva, Paul, TLM, Jim, Louise, Ed,
Cam, Thor and everyone else (please forgive my failing memory). Perhaps
I'll return for a swim. Perhaps I'll return a vaulting ego with royalties
lining my pockets. Perhaps I'll return with lint.

letting my stars out,
-jason
