Hey there Tim,
Glad to help with the "analysis". Unfortuantely here at school I only
have the 1991 Little Brown edition of F&Z and in it, Franny says "as long
as". Not as long at. Hope I've helped...by the way, I recently picked up
"22 collected stories" (I've deemed it the yahoo! auction edition) I can't
wait to read it!...actaully I can't wait to receive it...the seller is in
Indiana I believe and I am in Boston. Any recomendations on the order in
which to read them? Cronologically? Thanx...again, good luck with
F&Z...it's far and away my favorite piece of literature,
-pat
