Which was exactly the point of the closing lines of my last post. Sometimes
betray the English, yes. Betray the English in entire paragraphs or pages of
text, no. Or very seldom.

Reading in multiple translations is a good strategy for those who don't have the
original but want to read seriously. Reading in smooth translations is a good
strategy for enjoyment.
