Everyone knows the spectacular sex thing is a product of Europe, not
our purified land -- but you can't evade me, no you can't. I know
what you're up to, and those golf clubs don't trick me one bit.

Golf clubs. Golf clubs and who knows what else? I fear that John might
immediately look at me and stick a gun into my guts. It was the American
way then. I guess it still is. I mean, I look in the mirror (when I'm
SHAVING, Bessie, when I'm SHAVing, and I only look myself in the eyes)
and even I can't stand what I see.
