Actually, I'm stating the opposite. I'm saying that I wasn't a Clinton fan,
but I also think that Clinton staved off huge attacks like 911, by frequent
meetings, at least one per week devoted solely to al-quida, and often much
more frequently. Whereas Bush, (as two people from his single al-quida
meeting stated), not only didn't know what an al-quida was, but had to be
instructed on how to pronounce it. were there terrorist attacks before 911?
  of course, but with only a handful of casualties. Headline makers, not
graveyard fillers. Suddenly, after a year of disregarding world opinion,
walking out on international conferences, throwing away assistance from
allies, and irresponsibly not receiving intelligence that had been gathered,
the world lost 3000 people in a day. Was Clinton great? no. Is Bush
embarrassingly, criminally bad? absolutely. Your post discusses the
headlines, but it ignores the successful interventions that prevented
fatalities ending in headlines during the Clinton years.
