Just a question marker, um, out of curiosity, how many of you are
muli-slacking, ie, bananafishing on the boss' time?
tina

I get paid the same amount regardless of the time I put in. I suspect that
that is the case for most here, probably more true for the professional
academic types. I suspect that they are salaried also. Usually it is long
week hours with the mobile phone leash factored in. Plus, being a military
operation I an on permanent on call with 7 ring recall. That means that
when ever the threat condition goes up or there is an emergency or just a
plain old short notice deadline I get called in. On Sept 11 we on 12 hour
shifts around the clock 6 days a week. Right now with most of the Squadron
deployed the work load remains but the available man-hours have diminished.
And of course there is always that pile of work often drug home. I am sure
John O. and Jim can relate.

I have a long drive home which I enjoy since it is scenic. On one of the
routes I take there is a miniature horse breeding ranch. A few days ago, I
saw the minute foals frolicking with their knee high mothers. It made me
smile. The changing scenery is often a tonic. I guess I am a romantic but
unlike Jerome I don't worry about it being maia.

I've noticed that Jerome has a photographic descriptive ability in his work,
all those butt filled ashtrays and such. But apart from the Central Park
Ducks, I can't remember any significant references to nature. Am I
miss-remembering?

By the way, I miss John G./Aaron Sommers. I have a sneaking suspicion that
he morphed into Diego. Maybe that purging bon-fire transmutated him. John,
come out, come out from where ever you are! Donde esta?!
