I still think you're collapsing too much history into those few months
Bush was in office before 9/11. People were still trying to figure out
what he was about. No, he didn't and still hasn't signed the Kyoto
Accord. I wish he would. I'm not hating him because he hasn't.

PS when you said there hadn't been successful terrorist attacks against
the US since Pearl Harbor, you meant, of course, excepting the previous
WTC attacks, Columbine, and...what was that building brought down in
Oklahoma?
