I think my last post spoke directly to the question of whether I considered
myself an "intellectual" by your typically glib and non-recyclable definition
of the term (offered before the quote).

And, honestly, I am neither irked nor rotating, just sad about the petty
"anti-intellectual" posing I see on a Salinger list by a bunch of people who
pretend to share Groucho and Woody's reticence at belonging to any club that
would have someone like them as a member.

"Hey! Teacher! Leave the kids alone!"

Who would have ever thought that Scottie Bowman and Roger Waters had so much
in common?
