hmmmm..i wonder if anyone came up with something like that (screen savers)
and if it would be infringing on any of the copyright laws that salinger
has protecting his work?

computer related item: saw 'the saint' last night, and was drooling over
the Nokia 9000 (http://www.nokia.com), this thing does everything but make
your bed, and starting price for it is about 2k US dollars. roughy. what it
is, is a cellphone with its on os, also can be used to send and receive
email/faxes/voicemail, as well as has addressbook, date book, todo list.
gimme. ;)

another salinger note: started re-reading "nine stories", and thinking
about 'apdfb", and one thing keeps going through my mind, WHY did seymour
marry muriel? She's obviously the antithesis of his soul. The only
'logical' thing that i could think of would be that he married her because
he felt, to an extent, that by dating someone non-glassesque, he could save
himself, which he knew even further down, was horribley not true.

ttfn.
