Along these same lines:

Somewhere I have a paperback collection of New Yorker contest winners from
the sixties. One of the contests was rewriting a nursery rhyme in the
style of a popular writer. One of the winners was JDS's "Mary had a little
lamb". I don't remember the whole thing, but a couple of the lines were
"...goddamn lamb; all white." and "She was a card, old Mary."

Does anyone have this collection? I'm afraid it's packed away in my
parent's attic somewhere. I don't even remember the title.
