I thought JDS chose the name of "Seymour" because phonetically it says "See
more"

And a "Sybil" > "Sibyl" means 1. any of certain women consulted as
prophetesses or oracles by the ancient Greeks and Romans. 2. a witch;
sorceress; fortune teller.

And Muriel...well that's a cheap cigar...

(also the name of a pretty good Tom Waits song that leads off his album
"Foreign Affairs.")
