You can enthuse to me too. I tell all my friends that Automatic will be
taught in schools someday long from now. Also, Out of Time, when you look
under the commercial hullabaloo Losing My Religion created, is quietly as
good as Automatic.
Salinger-related: I just read two interesting articles about Salinger.
They're from The New York Observer, January 13 and February 3, 1997. The
first contains a very good interpretation of Catcher. The other, which is
not quite as good, responds to the release of Hapworth.
