Just like I always suspected. Most of the world's arguments and wars are simply
due to two people working on completely different levels of sarcasm. It's been
amazing to me since Scottie first joined this list just how much ire he can draw
from being a little sarky. This list needs Scottie to keep it from becoming the
preserve of the precious and eggshell treaders. That said, when he's not being
sarky he's one of the most genuine and most caring people on the list. If
anything this just seems to me what happens when Noo Yawk meets Olde Englande.

The original point of this thread was helena defending prescription drugs when
Camille made gross generalizations about them and now it's turned into Tim and
Scottie revealing their sources for their editorializing about drugs and
therapy. So whatever misunderstandings there may appear to be are simply there
because, uh, things weren't that gray to begin with.
