So malcs, because you have read bad criticism you don't read it?  I don't
think all criticism or even most of it is very good, but I know when I
talk in such large categories, meaning is lost.  I think there's plenty of
good Salinger ctriticism, though I agree with mr. salinger in liking the
criticism of Edmund Wilson best.  I'm wondering if you've read _Axle's
Castle_ or _To The Finland Station_?  will
