Camille, if you post more about the short story Garfunkel mistakenly
thinks (if mr. salinger won't collect his early stories in a book, it's
doubtful he would let one become a play since in l974 in a NYTimes
interview he expressed a desire to let those early stories "die a
perfectly natural death."  "I'm not trying to hid the gaucheries of my
youth...I just don't think they are worthy of publishing" said mr.
