I've perused a review of that Iranian Salinger film (I can't remember the movie's name right now) and from what I've can tell it's not the great cinematic achievement that we all hope it is. Supposedly the movie slaughters the plot of Franny and Zooey and turns it into little more than Islamic propaganda. Franny's pregnancy (yes, she is pregnant in the movie) is used to show the horrors of not being chaste...charming little changes like that.
