Trading collected Salinger's

I will assume that there are at least a few of us out here that want to go
ahead with the trading of stories.
So you know, I am in the middle of transcribing Hapworth. (Word for word.
Comma for comma.) I will let you all know when I am finished and those of
you that want it will get a tidy little e-mail, Melissa and guilt free.
Posting, I agree, is not the way to go and I do not think that anyone should
go through with it. (I did, however, consider the idea and have come to
realize, partly thanks to you all, that posting is wrong.) But trading is
nothing more than me asking someone else to borrow their copy of whatever
Salinger book or story. In fact, I can hardly keep copies of Salinger's
books on my shelf as I pass them out like a bad rash and never expect to get
them back in the first place. (That seems to be the case with all of my
favorite books it seems.)
I propose that we make a list of all the works that are not readily
available in book form. Then from there we could decide who had what and go
from there. (And would we photocopy them? Transcribe them? Scan? What?) I do
have copies of Hapworth that I will be glad to xerox.
The list "agreement" or rules or whatever states that no works should be
published. So we will not publish them to this list or otherwise.
I see nothing wrong with this and am eager as hell to read these stories.
