Dear Will
It's my pleasure to share the information I have.
Salinger's uncollected stories are published only by Arechi-Shuppansha
(Arechi Publishing Company) in Japan, though the collected stories are
published by a few publishers. The one volume you mentioned the other
day including "Slight Rebellion Off Madison," "A Young Girl in l941 With
No Waist At All,""A Girl I Knew," "Blue Melody," and "The Inverted
Forest" is Volume III of Selected Stories by J. D. Salinger by Arechi.
Volume I is Franny and Zooey. Volume II is a collection of short stories
including 16 stories from "Young Folks" to "I'm Crazy." Volume IV
includes Nine Stories and Raise High the Roof Beam. Lastly there is
a supplementary volume including "Hapworth." The Catcher and
Seymour: An Introduction are not included in this selection (a little
strange I think). But another publishers publish them.
