Strangely enough Jim I looked through my backlog last night out of
curiousity - what did we do??? - and came up with the same email. God, you
don't think the email that I sent in reply sent him packing do you? :

Do you think Scottie is so rhetorically minded as to quit a list server to
break the cycle of irony??? So which one of us is going to try contacting
him on private email, the suspense is slaying me!

On the other hand you could be right. Maybe I've finally convinced him that
Australia is the place to be (:
