My grandmother worked for the Schrafts building
which still stands over the Sullivan Square area of
Somerville, Mass. Though I doubt it will solve your
mystery: The company, from what I gathered, was a
manufacturer of wafers and various other candies,
which she placed into packages. Its my assumption
that it is the same company, abused by the passage
of 50 years which have all been dedicated to ruining
diners, soda fountains and sit-in confectionaries.

As well as language. The bits of slang from Salingers
tales are beautiful, to me, who is in the longstanding
line of "wowee zowee" sayers [as well as "neat,"
"super," "holy smokes" and "wowsers."] who are
recieved with the eye rolls of my fellow 1979ians.

You betcha.
