But good advice.

I could have gone into more detail. Probably something about the guy who
dumps the girl having to be "evil" or "bad" or "twisted" or "selfish" in
some way, and not just a normal guy (or a normally selfish guy) who just
happens to not be interested in the female protagonist in quite that way.

Surely if he's not interested in her there must be something wrong with
him.

Or her.

There's something just a little self indulgent in that coming from a
female author :).

But That's Ok. It was entertaining, readable, interesting self
indulgence. When she starts over she'll be starting from somewhere
substantial...
