Re: a political (and spiritual) being

My Goodness, Daniel,

I seem to have touched a nerve. Interesting.

A few small notes:

There is nothing even slightly "religious" about my relationship with Kafka's
works.

I'm not particularly worried about "what amuses others."

There's no "bowing and scraping" necessary in Omlor world, but it's certainly
not prohibited. And if that sort of thing gets you off, I say go for it.

Marx and Lenin have nothing to do with anything I have written. I I think
they are dinosaurs, one quaint, the other not so quaint.

I do not play with guns, have never been in prison, don't mess much with
genomes, and am perfectly happy and at peace with life here in my world. I'm
sorry you find that so troubling.

And, although I might find some who believe in them a bit worrisome, I
certainly fear nothing personally from your old fables.

They are amusing stories.

Hang in there, and enjoy the day.

I have.

All the best, in everything, Daniel, in life and love and food and drink and
sex and drugs and rock and roll and all the rest,

--John (smiling and celebrating in godless and tooth fairy-free tranquility)
