No, this was in reference to the Scottie post -- to kitsch, to Big Macs and the
Simpsons. The whole world is tacky (or can be), we Americans are just the best
at it.

So far as international politics goes, US hypocrisy is just a little more
transparent than the hypocrisy of the French, the Germans, or the Russians.

Just a little.
