Love in the Time of Cholera

Retreating from my observing status, I have a question. A long time ago we
talked about what we were reading, and I recall someone mentioning that they
had read Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Love in the Time of Cholera, and making some
comment on the ending, but I can't remember who said it or what they said about
it. I just finished it myself and I feel just a little bit let down. I
thought the book would be a truly sexy, sensual, heart-rending exotic type book,
but really, I think it may be a little glorified. Any comments from the
previous poster on this book?
