Right, I remember that now. The description sounded more like a
description of Strachey, and Leonard, to my knowledge, hasn't been
photographed with a beard. The only surefire confirmation, of course,
would be that if he did indeed have a beard at some time during the last
year of Woolf's life and was photographed.

Cunningham had to have had a source, unless he just screwed up. I think
I'm with you on this.
