sonny- glad to see you back-
this was the review that amazon.com wrote themselves for franny and 
zooey.  although one thing that amazon.com does sometimes for good 
books is include second opions by one of their "experts". they did 
this here, too. and the "encyclopedia of world lit." has a much 
better review- addressing the spiritual nature of the conflict. i 
scrolled down and humoursly found two new custmor reviews complaing 
about the idiotic review (both within this month!- although the 
latest was a few days ago- freaky). maybe they will clean it up. 
amazon.com is always very prompt about thier daily updates. i will 
check the page again in a few monthes and let everyone know.
