I'm going out with a guy nearly as young as my brother. My aunt is living
with a guy who is so young that his brother was in my year at school : he's
23, she's 40. My grandfather and grandmother are ten years apart. My
parents were born a week apart, and at the same hospital, though they knew
nothing of one another for the next ten years. All of us are happy, well
adjusted people very much in love with our respective partners.

my point is: what has age got to do with it??? I could go through endless
examples - Edgar Allen Poe and his wife, etc etc etc ... but I don't feel
like it.

A thought though: is this woman the `housewife' that Ian Hamilton mentions
in `In Search of JD Salinger' having finally realised the moneymaking
potential in having known him?
