More than that ... he'd actually been dating Oona just before she went off
with Chaplin. And apparently he's never been a huge fan of Chaplin since
... I've heard that that letter makes nasty reading, and for once Hamilton
is right. It does.

I thought I'd hate Joyce Maynard at the beginning of this thread - but the
weird thing is, so far I don't. Strange.
