I once had Lauren Bacall in my cab...I was so excited as we drove
crosstown through central park I hit a curb...she said I could talk with
her but had to keep my eyes on the road...as she signed my change box, I
returned her change from the fare incorrectly and again she had to sternly
remind me to concentrate on the job...let me get this straight though:
with all the wonders of ny swiling around like a kaliedescope, cab drivers
are supposed to look at the road and other cars???
