I absolutely know what it is > like to be in the back seat with a lunatic cab driver who has his neck > craned around to look at the back seat rather than at what's in front of > the cab. I can't read that part without laughing out loud! Three > cheers for Horwitz (for Chrissakes)! My boyfriend and I have often speculated that we have never really had a totally normal cab driver. We marvel at our ability to pick the craziest one at any given cab rank. We've had a guy we've had to wake up at the lights. We've had a guy who took hairpin curves at nearly 90 miles an hour. We've had a guy who slowed down almost to a halt at each and every cross road. We've had a guy telling us how we can smash the state. I find them a rich source of dramatic material (: As you say, hooray for the Horowitzes!
