Someone offered 15 copies for sale here the other day.  In the interest of
fair play, respect for copyright, and keeping our collective heads above
water, I asked the person who made the offer not to try to peddle pirated
editions of work here.

Cool!  Me, I have spent years looking at stacks of LIFE magazine on
sidewalks and in bookstores, looking for the issue with the original Ernest
Havemann article.  The photographs reproduced wonderfully in the original
LIFE -- something we just don't see in mass-market magazines anymore, given
the changes in physical production (paper, ink, printing methods).
