Hey, I admitted that I was pushing it when I wrote the post....
sometimes I just get so eager to prove myself right! :)  

Anyhow, I've been rereading Zooey.  And she's looking less pregnant in
light of what she talks about Zooey with... Sometimes I just wonder what
all of a sudden changed in her life that made her realize all this
phoniness - what made her realize the egos - why she decided that the
Jesus Prayer was so right for her.

And then I realize - she's a fictional character. It's not like I can go
interview her and find all this out. I can only speculate.  So, hey,
pregnancy was one speculation. I'm sure three years from now when I
reread, I'll come up with something else. And it'll keep happening every
time I reread it, I suppose.

I'll try not to take it so far next time! :)
