Hey everyone,
I've been wondering, given the heavily eastern bent on Buddy and
Seymours' religious beliefs, what were Bessie and Les' religious
beliefs? Were they Jewish - I remember Seymour being referred to as
being of "part jewish/part minotaur extraction" somewhere...
Not much is said about Walt...Why did Waker join the priesthood? Any
thoughts?
Writing of Waker makes me think of the comments that Tim O'Connor made
about the recent "tone" of the list.
Some people are acting like they gave their davega bicycle away, only
to watch the new owner ride the bike into oncoming traffic and end up
in an accident. Folks, we aren't allowed to remain attached to our
bikes once they are given, and if people dont know what to do with the
gift, that is what they must work on. But it is our responsibility to
continually refine what is naturally ours to give, and to offer it
freely.
I wish that people would remember that not all of us have given our
davega bicycles away yet - not all of us have been asked!
Or at the very least, I hope Scotty finds a reason to crack a smile -
for the fat lady, if nothing else.
So....*ahem*...why did Waker join the priesthood?
