I agree. Nice is over-rated. We wouldn't have Sylvia Plath's `Ariel', or
any Swift, or any Patrick White if Nice wasn't a devalued currency. Having
said that, I would rather my bananafish be a generally Nice rather than
Nasty place. (Perhaps what I am saying is that Art is allowed to be Nasty
and bananafish isn't Art (: ) And I agree that nothing here should be
personal - I regard you guys as colleagues and occasional intellectual
sparring partners but let's not go insulting each other's mothers, OK ?
