I will use this moment to refresh you memory of Chloë Sevigny in Stillman’s
Last Days of Disco, telling us her dream of a future project would be to
bring forward an author like (a new) Salinger, but Salinger as in The
Laughing Man rather than as in The Catcher.
The burden of having a name like mine is a terror ordinary people like the
most of you cannot fathom (A Boy Named Sue from Johnny Cash’s Live at San
Quentin album may give you a clue). So forgive me for taking a little pride
and comfort in the words of our angel Chloë’s.
