i think religion is an inappropriate response to the divine (mm, i
forgot who said that?) but i do believe in some sort of "all souls are
one" thing. as for the afterlife, i prefer to think it doesn't exist -
so i will be happily surprised if there is one, and not disappointed
if there is none:)

oh...i read "franny & zooey" many times, but if i want to introduce a
friend to salinger's works, i tend to choose esme, perfect day for
bananafish or the laughing man, from 9 stories.
