perhaps my feelings towards the film were affected by the people i had gone
there with, usually i watch movies by myself to avoid that sort of thing. i
have only met one person who's taste in films is like mine, but he goes
alone also. certainly my expectations were tainted also, expecting something
like "saving private ryan" or "platoon," forgetting the directors reputation
as a filmmaker.
(wim wenders in this case) somewhere else also. is "Al di là delle nuvole"
a better way to say "beyond the clouds," or just a different way? i thought
the title of the movie actually was "par-dela les nuages." what i'm
wondering is, what's the difference between the two?
