would be praised for bringing in one of the best generals in the last 50
years. They would be applauded for their inclusion of minorities and their
ability to reach across party lines to develop an administration. Yet,
since the republicans appointed Gen. Powell: it's a travesty, he is a
terrible leader, he is a token minority, the Gulf War was a failure, "uncle
tom powell," etc, etc. STOP THE HYPOCRACY."
Please forgive my skepticism, but I'm still smarting from when a certain
Republican nominated Clarence Thomas, a sick, self-loathing, underqualified
reactionary, to the Supreme Court.
