Even supposing the office is now somehow measurably less dignified than it
has been hitherto, it's hardly a point of fact that Bush is a person of
integrity, or that his assuming the helm is going to confer on the
presidency whatever desirable characteristics he does indeed possess.

Who's to serve as the reference point for integrity, anyway? Jerry D, I
suppose?
