Hi! I'm the housekeeper of the web site. Regrettably, any digest prior
to the start of 1997 is not available; that would predate my involvement
in this madhouse (greetings to all the inmates, a designation in which I
include myself), and when I assembled the web site, I got all available
messages and grafted them onto the site I had put together.

So, anything prior to that post in February 1997 is pretty much lost to
the sands of time.

Welcome to the list ... I can see that you are stirring things up, which
is always welcome here.
