That's not the listserv, it's your ISP. AOL's mail "gateways" are terrible.
AOL might receive some of your email and not actually deliver it to your
mailbox for several days. Meanwhile, other messages go straight through in
seconds. Why? I dunno... but I had the same problem until I switched to an
Internet-based email address. :)

ObSalinger: I just started reading _The Bell Jar_, by Sylvia Plath (at
school whenever I have nothing to do and a little time before my next
class). Only on like page 50 but it reminds me a lot of Catcher so far...
written in first person by a young woman who is lost and confused and
disgusted (and in New York too).
